Wah... Yesterday was an adventure man!!!
Basically, cain and me went up to Auckland to get a car... Cain was supposed to get a Honda civic and me a Toyota starlet Turbo... But both of us got pangsai by the respective owner of the cars and in the end we got a small car to drive back to palmy...
On the way back, somewhere between matamata and taupo, the car just died on the road.. Died as in no lights, no engine, no nothing.... Luckily for us, there was a jeep at the back and he kept high-beaming us and we could see the side of the road and got to safely stop there.. And boy, was it DARK!!! both sides were forested area... While checking the engine and hoping that it was not a major problem, i started hearing dogs howling to my right and left... listening to mj12 made my imagination ran wild... Cain detected the problem and it appeared that the batttery terminal jumped out of its socket... When cain placed back the terminal, the electrics of the car started working... it was such a relief!!!! But it didnt end there..
We safely reached taupo and due to fatigue and just plain lazy, we decided not to stop there and refuel as there was still 1/4 tank left.. and so we continued on... half way on desert rd (this road is damn long and curvy with lots of corners), cain said this to me "hey shaf, we are almost out of petrol. it is on the E-mark"
HAHAHAHA.... now i can laugh... but at that moment of time, my balls shrank and my eyes went wide open... NABEI!!!!!
The next nearest town was like maybe 20-35km away...
But we continued... Praying that the engine didnt stopped.. cain drove with upmost caution, pressing the pedal just a bit and travelling at the theoretical optimum fuel efficient speed of 80km/hr.. so many trucks took over us that night...
Soon, we arrived at the new town.. we finally could relax... hahahaha... was it a short relax... coz there was no opened petrol station around!!! HAHAHAHAHA.....
I suggested that we just sleep in the car at the petrol station and refuel as soon as it opens but cain calculated the amount the car might consumed to reach the next town, and it was 30km away.. so being a small car, it wld roughly at max consume abt 2.5l at 13km/litre, worst case scenario... den i said "fuck it! lets gamble!!"
And off we went again.... It was the longest 30km of my life!!! cain did the same thing, drove at 80km/hr....
Alhamdullilah, we reached and top up FULL!!! hahahaha......
Sat off from Auckland at 10pm and reached palmy at 4.30am....
Good adventure.....

the one with the sims...

This is wat i do in sims..... (the thing is not switched on... yet...)
And it can be damn tiring to the eyes as u need to keep scanning the instruments...
But i enjoy doing sim and i have a good instructor too...
Also, sims make me sleep very well at night... lol... coz by the time im done doing it, my eyes refuse to stay open...
now... it... is... slowly... closing.....
ZzzzzZzzzz........

Nothing much....

Wah... Cant sleep too early nowadays seh... I woke up at 4am and couldnt sleep till abt 6... and the best part, 6am is like 9am in singapore... not the time though, but the sun is already shining so brightly!!! fell asleep eventually... And den only woke up at noon...
Lepak here and there... den cain came ard to check the radiator leak... walau... just thinking of it makes me feel so down... have to depend on ppl to drive me ard... tak shiok seh... and must spend $$ somemore to repair... sigh....
After that revised on the VOR/DME approach... lol....
Followed Jas to his sim... doing VOR/DME approaches at PM... wah... damn hard seh...
So many things to do... so many procedures.... But Jas is good la... luckily i went to see how it was done.. so tmr my turn i know wat to do... lol....
After that dinner with David again! plus Bryant, Jason and Ah Siang...
And here i am at my desk... revising for tmr approach... again and again.... while surfing and listening to random songs...

Inside is teh tarik i tried making....
Azura gave the tea powder and the cloth-filter.. but in the end i put the powder in it and drank altogether.... but cant fight hers la... missed those days when u made me a nice homemade teh tarik...
AND AND AND... u see that white car?????
Im thinking of getting it la.... manual 1996 Toyota Levin....

Back in Palmy

Hello....
Yes... I am back in Palmerston North NZ....
Been here for abt a week plus... Came back, fall sick, got better...
The air here is damn fresh la... Love it... I think thats abt the only thing i love here in PM...
Anyway, just went to a reunion dinner with my friends... the foood ok ok only... got babi dishes but stayed away from those... ate mostly the fish and prawns and rice...
lol.... den kena bayar like the rest... rugi seh....
Now back at home sitting down and doing nothing...
Relax now caused now my sims just started gonna be damn busy....
Also, damn suay la.. my 1990 toyota celica has a radiator leak.. dont know how bad it is... but there was one COLD night i was driving to a friend's place when suddenly i saw the temperature gauge went siao.... i was so scared ballz... skali meletup... HABIS... reached his place topped up some water den drove back... half way, the engine died coz too hot... sigh.... next day checked and found the water leaking... morale dropped 10pts... need to spend money AGAIN!!!! ARRGGHH....
I think i will change car....
